Nails are the easiest place to try a trend. A color you would never wear on your lips or in your hair can look fresh on ten small canvases, and it only lasts a week or two.

BurgundyColors that work all year
- Nude and pink: clean, polished and right for every setting.
- Red and burgundy: classic, and even richer in autumn and winter.
- White and lilac: bright and modern in spring and summer.
- Coral: a warm summer favorite.
- Black, blue and green: bold choices that look striking on short, square nails.
- Glossy: the classic shine, and the most forgiving.
- Matte: soft and velvety, beautiful on dark colors.
- Shimmer: fine sparkle that catches the light.
- Chrome: a mirror like metallic finish.
Five designs
- Solid: one color, nail to nail.
- French: a clean tip line, in white or in any color.
- Ombre: one shade melting into another.
- Glitter accent: one nail with glitter, the rest solid.
- Minimal dots: a small dot or two on a clean base.
Choose with your undertone in mind
Warm undertones glow with coral, warm red and gold shimmer. Cool undertones suit berry, lilac, blue and silver chrome. A nude polish looks best a little lighter or darker than your skin rather than an exact match.
Preview on your own hand
Nail Preview in VIPAD shows a color, a finish and a design on a photo of your own hand. Take the photo on a plain surface in daylight with your fingers slightly apart. Save your favorites to My Looks and show them at the salon.
